Spectators: 9221 (Terracing: 6917, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mathijs Grommers kicked off to start the match. Hugo Blank made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Winthont FC's Abilio Pages. Gregor Rinzema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Zalm, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, Pascal Zalm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregor Rinzema was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of De Digitale Dribbelaars booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Co Fuchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Mart Verweijen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Winthont FC's Rappo Rapado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 21 minutes into the match, Berend Stuifzand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berend Stuifzand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Gilbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Zalm in the 25th minute of play forced De Digitale Dribbelaars's goalkeeper Gregor Rinzema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Wim Roorda managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Roorda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Beerthuis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Pascal Zalm notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of De Digitale Dribbelaars's Gregor Rinzema. Gregor Rinzema was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute of the match, Pascal Zalm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregor Rinzema saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abilio Pages was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Co Fuchs in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Beerthuis saved Winthont FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the De Digitale Dribbelaars defense, Mathijs Grommers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregor Rinzema. The De Digitale Dribbelaars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregor Rinzema should have stopped the shot. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Co Fuchs in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Digitale Dribbelaars! Gregor Rinzema went to the wrong direction when Sander Schaars was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Pascal Zalm hit a great ball. Gregor Rinzema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Zalm in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathijs Grommers. The audience thought a goal was coming when Co Fuchs got free with Dennis Beerthuis in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Co Fuchs kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Winthont FC's Gert Jan van Westerop was substituted for Pascal Zalm. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pankracy Wisniewski was substituted for Berend Stuifzand. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Han Xiang Ang, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. De Digitale Dribbelaars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Han Xiang Ang in the 68th minute. The corner led De Digitale Dribbelaars's Han Xiang Ang to fire away a dangerous shot which Dennis Beerthuis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gregor Rinzema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Jan van Westerop, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Co Fuchs sent off a good shot on target. Co Fuchs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Beerthuis came out and tried to block the shot, but Co Fuchs slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 82nd minute. De Digitale Dribbelaars made a substitution. Zenonas Lopeta replaced Severo Jobo. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Winthont FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Gert Jan van Westerop got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Co Fuchs made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Winthont FC had played much better football throughout.
