The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steve Heikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Meijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vlad Ivan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Steve Heikens. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Heineken Youths's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Rafe Almazan scored to the left of an out of position Steve Heikens, making the score, 3-0. After 19 minutes, Guus Degens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heineken Youths and the Defender Red Bull2.1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Defender Red Bull2.1 booed when Heineken Youths was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guus Degens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Hans Meijs notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Heineken Youths's Steve Heikens. Steve Heikens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steve Heikens came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Defender Red Bull2.1's Rafe Almazan. But to his dismay, Rafe Almazan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 33 minutes into the game, Rafe Almazan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steve Heikens. Rafe Almazan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. In the 36th minute, Defender Red Bull2.1's Rafe Almazan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Steve Heikens. Steve Heikens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. 39 minutes into the match, Govert Beuneker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steve Heikens. Heineken Youths's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Govert Beuneker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Rafe Almazan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defender Red Bull2.1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafe Almazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Heikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Ivan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Heineken Youths's goalkeeper Steve Heikens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Govert Beuneker. In the 46th minute, Elmar Korf made a precise shot to the right of Steve Heikens. Heineken Youths's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralph Koopmans made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Heineken Youths's Strong Body got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Steve Heikens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Beuneker, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Hans Meijs made a precise shot to the right of Steve Heikens. Heineken Youths's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. In the 62nd minute Rafe Almazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Heikens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Heineken Youths's Strong Body made it 12-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ed Oosterveld was left in no man's land by his defense there! But to his dismay, Hans Meijs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-1. Steve Heikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Govert Beuneker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Defender Red Bull2.1's Rafe Almazan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steve Heikens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-1. 85 minutes into the match, Hans Meijs notched a goal, 17-1, to the right of Heineken Youths's Steve Heikens. Steve Heikens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute, Govert Beuneker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steve Heikens was frozen by the shot and now it was 19-1. Steve Heikens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Govert Beuneker in the 96th minute of the match.
