Łukasz Zwolinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Łukasz Zwolinski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henk-Jan Appel firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Henk-Jan Appel managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when FFC Merainies 03's Łukasz Zwolinski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Boca Gregorian Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Cees Dirks didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes in the game Fabio Botello after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Henk-Jan Appel. A very good opportunity. In the 36th minute Leon Craandijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk-Jan Appel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Łukasz Zwolinski got free with Henk-Jan Appel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FFC Merainies 03's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Tuyp in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sébastien Haller to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Demy Salens got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Marceau in the 59th minute of play forced Boca Gregorian Juniors's goalkeeper Henk-Jan Appel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk-Jan Appel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Marceau, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Bruno Marceau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk-Jan Appel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Henk-Jan Appel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Marceau in the 68th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Hans Tuyp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu came out of the goal and Hans Tuyp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henk-Jan Appel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Marceau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Marceau in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henk-Jan Appel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henk-Jan Appel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Marceau in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Bruno Marceau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henk-Jan Appel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 89 minutes into the game, Łukasz Zwolinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Henk-Jan Appel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92ndth minute of the game Łukasz Zwolinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Gregorian Juniors's Henk-Jan Appel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin Tevreden kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FFC Merainies 03's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
