Antoon Zeegers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Kilström went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Sheep United's Alvaro Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoon Zeegers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Pisang Goreng United got a corner. Sheep United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vincent Schulte ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pisang Goreng United's Ted van Duuren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gerwin Broerse in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Errando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antoon Zeegers. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 34th minute Sheep United were awarded a corner. Diego Sánchez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pisang Goreng United's goalie and right to Walter Ahlgren. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pisang Goreng United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 36th minute Vincent Frankena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerwin Broerse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Frankena was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sheep United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patrick Norberg hit a great ball. If Diego Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoon Zeegers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Errando in the 68th minute of the match. Vincent Frankena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerwin Broerse having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Pisang Goreng United's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Antoon Zeegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sheep United's Ronald de Boer got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Antoon Zeegers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Errando in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Pisang Goreng United's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Antoon Zeegers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Errando in the 87th minute of play forced Pisang Goreng United's goalkeeper Antoon Zeegers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sheep United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
