In the 7th minute FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner. Marick Brunt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Bal op het Dak's Marick Brunt to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilfried Henselmans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to FC Bal op het Dak getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Iwan Valentijn hit a great ball. Maurício Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack de Koning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osdorp FC's Wilfried Henselmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Valentijn in the 21st minute of play. Ty Dijkstra made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arturo Brownell. After some careless play in the Osdorp FC defense, Aristides Gombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfried Henselmans. The Osdorp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfried Henselmans should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Osdorp FC's Maurício Bomba threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 麦树扬, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 36 minutes, Jack de Koning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osdorp FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack de Koning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Bal op het Dak's Válbson Almeida managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ty Dijkstra in the 38 minute of the game. Iwan Valentijn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfried Henselmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwan Valentijn made a kick off. Iwan Valentijn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilfried Henselmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Valentijn in the 58th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Iwan Valentijn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 70th minute Arturo Brownell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Jelmer Pander in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Bal op het Dak's John-Paul Locatelli. 76 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Wilfried Henselmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Kjellman. Osdorp FC made a substitution. Hendrik Heida replaced Jelmer Pander. After taking down the ball on FC Bal op het Dak's corner Marick Brunt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilfried Henselmans quite easily take care of the ball. Dan Kjellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Wilfried Henselmans made a huge save. The FC Bal op het Dak supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bal op het Dak would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
