The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dolf Schoonderwoerd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Larsson in the 75th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Arixo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Decathlon Dudes's Ruben Idelberger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 96th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Decathlon Dudes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Decathlon Dudes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
