In the 10th minute, Jelte Bleiswijk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lemel SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Stommeer A's Edgardo Oinaz got control of the ball when Dennis Bergkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute Lemel SV were awarded a corner. Jacek Furlit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Oinaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgardo Oinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Furlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Vinícius Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Lemel SV's Edgardo Oinaz threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Caniggia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damien Roetering in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Wiklund saved Lemel SV from getting behind. Edgardo Oinaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jelte Bleiswijk's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinícius Junior stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinícius Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stommeer A's goalkeeper Edgardo Oinaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute Claudio Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Oinaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Stommeer A's goal looked a bit too open when Jelte Bleiswijk came free, but Edgardo Oinaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Jelte Bleiswijk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemel SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jelte Bleiswijk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Oinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Furlit, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Lemel SV's George Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Junior in the 91st minute of play.
