The audience was convinced that Martin Akubuike's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Criss Amadasu was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After having played for 24 minutes, Emelogu Abiche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liskeard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emelogu Abiche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Akubuike to strike the kick off in the second half. Criss Amadasu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hilltown FC's Idris Emenalo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Ifesinachi Shahada sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hilltown FC's Criss Amadasu didn't even have to move. Martin Akubuike's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Criss Amadasu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chijioke Garo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Criss Amadasu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Akubuike struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Criss Amadasu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liskeard. If Martin Akubuike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onyinye Obodoechi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onyinye Obodoechi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ifesinachi Shahada shot a long shot in the 95th minute and a light blocked Criss Amadasu hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-4. Liskeard's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
