After the first half FC GreenWhiteGreen were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nailsworth's Onyema Adebona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onyewuchi Obikwelu in the 57th minute of play. Ishaku Obodoechi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Onyema Adebona made a huge save. Ishaku Obodoechi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Onyema Adebona came out and tried to block the shot, but Ishaku Obodoechi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 62nd minute. Onyema Adebona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osa Adenuga in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ishaq Iheanacho in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aminu Taiwo saved FC GreenWhiteGreen from getting behind. Goni Akintemi charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goni Akintemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Goni Akintemi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ishaku Obodoechi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onyema Adebona having to interfere. Ishaku Obodoechi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Onyema Adebona made a huge save. If Onyewuchi Obikwelu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Onyema Adebona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osa Adenuga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onyema Adebona stood somewhat misplaced when Ishaku Obodoechi came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 83 minute. 86 minutes into the match, Nailsworth's goalkeeper Onyema Adebona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osa Adenuga. The crowd rose to their feet as FC GreenWhiteGreen's Ishaku Obodoechi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Onyema Adebona. That made the score 0-8 after 90 minutes of play. Nailsworth's Onyema Adebona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Nailsworth from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Osa Adenuga could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Onyema Adebona however easily saved by the left post.
