In the 3rd minute, Bucknell's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kingsley Apam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 7 minutes, Kingsley Apam made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bucknell's Jibril Anzigah tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Cheddar's Eric Monday Obalola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jibril Anzigah. Jibril Anzigah yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 19 minutes, Kingsley Apam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheddar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kingsley Apam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Udo Owobokiri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Somadina Okeke. Cheddar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Udo Owobokiri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 23rd play minutes Eric Monday Obalola shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Jibril Anzigah and just under the crossbar into goal. Udo Owobokiri hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Abazu Osiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Somadina Okeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bucknell's zone, Eric Monday Obalola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jibril Anzigah came out of the goal and Eric Monday Obalola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bucknell getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Udo Owobokiri hit a great ball. A collision led to Cheddar getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Oniwor Babatope hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abazu Osiro in the 44th minute of play forced Cheddar's goalkeeper Somadina Okeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abazu Osiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kingsley Apam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Abazu Osiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Somadina Okeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ike Abiakam could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Somadina Okeke however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kingsley Apam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheddar's supporters rose to their feet, but Kingsley Apam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jibril Anzigah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Monday Obalola struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jibril Anzigah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheddar. Kingsley Apam succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Jibril Anzigah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Monday Obalola, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kingsley Apam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheddar's supporters rose to their feet, but Kingsley Apam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jibril Anzigah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Bucknell getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nnacheta Apam hit a great ball. Udo Owobokiri's late challenge caught a Cheddar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Udo Owobokiri helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Bucknell got a freekick which was hit by Udo Owobokiri. Jibril Anzigah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Monday Obalola's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kingsley Apam in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jibril Anzigah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ike Abiakam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Somadina Okeke made a huge save.
