The audience held their breath when Damiano Pelati in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Eugenio Mazzini's left hand side. After some careless play in the Ciao-Adios-Bye-TheEnd defense, Carmine Tacconelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Mazzini. The Ciao-Adios-Bye-TheEnd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Mazzini should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Bellisario made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Pipponi got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Bellisario. Augusto Del Monaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Pasquarelli in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Alex De Paolis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciao-Adios-Bye-TheEnd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
