Augusto Borromeo's late challenge caught a Borgo Ticino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Attili showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When Diego Attili came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Borgo Ticino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Attili couldn't finish the play. Borgo Ticino FC's Diego Attili got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amos Ursini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borgo Ticino FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
