Abakos United's Cosimo Di Ruscio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Parente in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Armin Verdini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abakos United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poggio Inferiore the free kick. In the 13th minute, Armin Verdini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes of play, Poggio Inferiore's Bianco Scarpa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosimo Di Ruscio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Anselmo Mannucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Di Ruscio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Adriano Parente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cosimo Di Ruscio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Abakos United's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Parente came free, but Cosimo Di Ruscio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Abakos United booed when Poggio Inferiore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Apolloni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abakos United's Cosimo Di Ruscio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Scarpa in the 33rd minute of play. Bianco Scarpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cosimo Di Ruscio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Di Ruscio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Scarpa in the 39th minute of play. If Daniele Cicchini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Armin Verdini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Anselmo Mannucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poggio Inferiore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abakos United the free kick. A collision led to Poggio Inferiore getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anselmo Mannucci hit a great ball. The Abakos United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Poggio Inferiore were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Romano to strike the kick off in the second half. Abakos United's Daniele Cicchini got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Bianco Scarpa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosimo Di Ruscio. Abakos United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bianco Scarpa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Daniele Cicchini kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bianco Scarpa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Cosimo Di Ruscio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 67th minute, Adriano Parente made a precise shot to the right of Cosimo Di Ruscio. Abakos United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 70 played minutes Cristiano Romano rounded Abakos United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abakos United's goalkeeper Cosimo Di Ruscio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Abakos United's goalkeeper Cosimo Di Ruscio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bianco Scarpa. Cosimo Di Ruscio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bianco Scarpa in the 78th minute. Cosimo Di Ruscio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Romano's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Bianco Scarpa made a precise shot to the right of Cosimo Di Ruscio. Abakos United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Bianco Scarpa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Cosimo Di Ruscio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Abakos United's zone, Cristiano Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosimo Di Ruscio came out of the goal and Cristiano Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Poggio Inferiore players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
