In the 28thth minute of the game Armin Croce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Tusculum FC's Fortunato Mancini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fortunato Mancini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Sundberg in the 36th minute of play. Alvaro Mancinelli hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. RUNA FC's Edvard Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Croce got free with Fortunato Mancini in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, RUNA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Ciccio Ranieri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Tusculum FC and the RUNA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. RUNA FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Real Tusculum FC had won, even though RUNA FC had held more of the ball.
