Florian Di Florio charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florian Di Florio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Friulkatané's Florian Di Florio got a free kick in the 7th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Anselmo Cruciani dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dino Lepori, 1-0. Dino Lepori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Cruciani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CG Studenti's Fabio Tondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixtus Flory in the 20th minute of play. Edoardo Costacurta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Tondi having to interfere. Dino Lepori made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Anthony Pelati sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Tondi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixtus Flory, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Anselmo Cruciani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dino Lepori made a huge save. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Friulkatané's goalkeeper Dino Lepori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Sixtus Flory made the kick off in the second half. When Sixtus Flory came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Friulkatané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixtus Flory couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, Friulkatané's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Rotili came free, but Dino Lepori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CG Studenti's Dennis Ferrini got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dino Lepori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Cruciani, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dino Lepori was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Arrigo Rotili in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Friulkatané's Fabiano Biagetti. Friulkatané's Dino Lepori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Cruciani in the 95th minute of play.
