Damiano Marsili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, LATIUM's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Oddi came free, but Corrado Pili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corrado Pili came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Riccardo & Erika's Anthony Oddi. But to his dismay, Anthony Oddi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Riccardo & Erika's goalkeeper Damiano Marsili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Giovannelli. A hard shot 21 in the game by Alfonso Giovannelli from a close distance when the talented Damiano Marsili managed to make a qualified save. Riccardo & Erika's players were relieved. Amerigo Buffone kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Andrea Foddis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Foddis in the 27th minute of play forced Riccardo & Erika's goalkeeper Damiano Marsili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Carosella got free with Corrado Pili in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damiano Marsili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Buffone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Foddis in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Marsili saved Riccardo & Erika from getting behind. Damiano Marsili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Giovannelli in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Andrea Foddis managed to get in a good position for a shot. LATIUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Foddis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Marsili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Pili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Oddi in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Foddis in the 87th minute of play forced Riccardo & Erika's goalkeeper Damiano Marsili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Riccardo & Erika's Damiano Marsili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Palmisano in the 91st minute of play. LATIUM's Amerigo Buffone got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Riccardo & Erika were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant LATIUM side.
