Anfilogino Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Piccone in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Il Reverendo Team getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ciccio Cardillo hit a great ball. Roberto baggi were furious when Anselmo Cesarini was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 15th match minute, Roberto baggi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Cesarini to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Ruggieri struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Carter Cattaneo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Il Reverendo Team. The Roberto baggi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Il Reverendo Team were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Piccone was the one to do the kick off. Carter Cattaneo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Antonelli in the 52nd minute. Flavio Antonellis short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Carter Cattaneo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Di Giovanni in the 68th minute of play forced Roberto baggi's goalkeeper Carter Cattaneo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Antonelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carter Cattaneo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Il Reverendo Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
