In the 4thth minute of the game Adriano Losito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manfredonia Calcio 1932's Alfredo Torelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Alessandro Del Piero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Il Reverendo Team's Anfilogino Cirone. Anfilogino Cirone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 played minutes Manfredonia Calcio 1932 got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Del Piero. Alfredo Torelli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Losito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Alfredo Torelli made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ciccio Cardillo sent off a good shot on target. Anfilogino Cirone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ernesto Giandomenico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anfilogino Cirone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 26th minute Ernesto Giandomenico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Cirone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Torelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Losito in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Antonelli got free with Alfredo Torelli in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Il Reverendo Team got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Salomone. 38 minutes into the match, Alessandro Del Piero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anfilogino Cirone. Il Reverendo Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Del Piero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Il Reverendo Team's Anfilogino Cirone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 41st minute of play. Corrado Aversano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Manfredonia Calcio 1932 booed when Il Reverendo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Corrado Aversano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Anfilogino Cirone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Giandomenico in the 54th minute. Bruno Di Giovanni kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Anfilogino Cirone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateusz Smolarek in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Manfredonia Calcio 1932 got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Del Piero. Anfilogino Cirone came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Manfredonia Calcio 1932's Mateusz Smolarek. But to his dismay, Mateusz Smolarek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Il Reverendo Team's Filippo Losito was substituted for Adriano Losito. In the 90th play minute Mateusz Smolarek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anfilogino Cirone. 1-6. Alfredo Torelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Antonelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Manfredonia Calcio 1932 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Il Reverendo Team.
