Anthony Bussi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio De Cesaris in the 18th minute of play. Anthony Bussi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Chelodi in the 20th minute of the match. Comunardo Morandin took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Bussi. Anthony Bussi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Chelodi in the 25th minute of play forced Stiolo AFD's goalkeeper Anthony Bussi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Stiolo AFD's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Chelodi came free, but Anthony Bussi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stiolo AFD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Stiolo AFD's Ferdinando Andreola quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredo Catena, made in the 42nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Stiolo AFD defense, Comunardo Morandin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony Bussi. The Stiolo AFD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony Bussi should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio De Cesaris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
