The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Spencer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Valeriani came out and tried to block the shot, but Diego Spencer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Diego Spencer notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Aleschi FC's Aurelio Valeriani. Aurelio Valeriani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Aleschi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Fernandez came free, but Aurelio Valeriani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Aleschi FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Valeriani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Spencer. In the 37th minute Alfredo Pierdomenico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Formaggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Armindo Candeias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ettore Formaggio was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Aurelio Valeriani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raphael Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 88thth minute of the game Diego Spencer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aleschi FC's Aurelio Valeriani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lario FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
