Fabiano Fantini hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Amedeo Piermattei managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a left leg Flavio Lavatrice saved Molfetta sportiva from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Zola Predosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Iannone came free, but Josué Rego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Armando Amadei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Lavatrice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Piermattei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Molfetta sportiva's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amedeo Piermattei fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Melani in the 34th minute of play forced Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Sciamanna in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Lavatrice prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josué Rego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesare Di Renzo in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Cesare Di Renzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Josué Rego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Molfetta sportiva's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
