The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Alexander Pasquarelli made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zola Predosa FC's Josué Rego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 played minutes L.R. Vicenza got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Costantino. L.R. Vicenza's Emilio Maurizi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Moreschi in the 11th minute of play. Florian Moreschi took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Maurizi. Amedeo Piermattei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Emilio Maurizi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Nel scored 2-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josué Rego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Polito made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zola Predosa FC's Fabio Marcantonio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Nel in the 33rd minute of play forced Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Pasquarelli in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, L.R. Vicenza's Josué Rego threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paşa Palla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 55th minute, Augusto Costantino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Zola Predosa FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fortunato Marra hit a great ball. Paşa Palla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Maurizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Nel in the 82nd minute of play forced Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Maurizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Moreschi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Rego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Nel in the 91st minute. L.R. Vicenza's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
