TRANSILVANIA's Bruno Sorge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Corvi in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Emanuele Passalacqua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuele Passalacqua kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Boniel got free with Bruno Sorge in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Sorge was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Luciano Boniel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luciano Boniel really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Amerigo Staniscia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuele Passalacqua went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, TRANSILVANIA's goalkeeper Bruno Sorge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Boniel. Amerigo Staniscia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felip Jaen in the 42nd minute of play. When Luciano Boniel came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Biancanigo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Boniel couldn't finish the play. Luciano Boniel in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Sorge, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arturo Fantasia's late challenge caught a Biancanigo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Fantasia helped the player get up and apologised. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Boniel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Di Lullo in the 52nd minute of play forced Biancanigo FC's goalkeeper Amerigo Staniscia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Arrigo Corvi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRANSILVANIA's Bruno Sorge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arrigo Corvi in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Sorge saved TRANSILVANIA from getting behind. Amerigo Staniscia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Di Lullo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Amerigo Staniscia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Di Lullo's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Biancanigo FC had played much better football throughout.
