Davide Colaneri's late challenge caught a Herta Budino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davide Colaneri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Basaldella AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Colaneri to maneuver through the defense. Davide Rinaldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Loiacono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davide Rinaldi ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Basaldella AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Rinaldi came free, but Dave Loiacono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Davide Rinaldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basaldella AFC's Dave Loiacono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Fábio Grosso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dave Loiacono quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davide Rinaldi in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Loiacono saved Basaldella AFC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Davide Rinaldi sped through Basaldella AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Loiacono. 17 minutes into the match, Basaldella AFC's goalkeeper Dave Loiacono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davide Rinaldi. Davide Rinaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Loiacono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ennio Bertini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dave Loiacono made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Davide Rinaldi sent off a good shot on target. Fortunato Sangermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Alessandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Basaldella AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domenico Marongiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Herta Budino's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Herta Budino's corner Domenico Marongiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dave Loiacono quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Davide Colaneri in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Herta Budino's Furo Rede. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Herta Budino. Davide Rinaldi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dave Loiacono. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Davide Rinaldi made the kick off in the second half. Holger Rune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Loiacono having to interfere. Basaldella AFC's Dave Loiacono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 52nd minute of play. Davide Rinaldi scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Loiacono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio De Tommasi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Sangermano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 63rd minute of play forced Basaldella AFC's goalkeeper Dave Loiacono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Davide Rinaldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basaldella AFC's Dave Loiacono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alessandro Ronconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Fortunato Sangermano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Basaldella AFC defense, Davide Rinaldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Loiacono. The Basaldella AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Loiacono should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dave Loiacono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute of the match Herta Budino got a corner. Basaldella AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domenico Marongiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Nino Galfrè had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herta Budino were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Basaldella AFC for a fine match.
