The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Felice Tacco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Coimbra came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hélio O'Connell could save by the left post. 10 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's Delmiro Etxekopar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélio O'Connell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Leiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Tacco in the 15th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Andrea Mariani got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Leiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Zapolski came free, but Hélio O'Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Tacco in the 22nd minute of play. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Maritek FC from getting a goal against them. Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolli Boll in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felice Tacco in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Leiva saved LEBEG Team from getting behind. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Maritek FC from getting a goal against them. LEBEG Team's Enrico Palmisano was substituted for Joel Coimbra. The LEBEG Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maritek FC were winning 0-1.

Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Zapolski in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Maritek FC got a corner. LEBEG Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrea Mariani ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andrea Mariani made a great header on Maritek FC's corner, it was just that LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66th minute Arturo Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio O'Connell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ettore Santo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Maritek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Santo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Santo got free with Thiago Leiva in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of LEBEG Team booed when Maritek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peli Neri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maritek FC's Alfredo Toschi was substituted for Ferruccio Zarillo. Arturo Zapolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hélio O'Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Zapolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélio O'Connell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes Maritek FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bolli Boll who took care of the corner kick. Hélio O'Connell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Leiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Toschi in the 87th minute. Thiago Leiva came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Maritek FC's Federico Ondino. But to his dismay, Federico Ondino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 95th minute, Alfredo Toschi made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Leiva. LEBEG Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maritek FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
