Antonio Nero started the match with the kick off. Miguel Tristan took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Silvestri. Marco Silvestri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Biagio Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Bevilacqua in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corrado Piscopo. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Tristan came free, but Marco Silvestri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Augusto Bevilacqua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Tolin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Alvaro Tolin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Medoacus Maior's zone, Davide Guerrini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Tolin came out of the goal and Davide Guerrini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Bevilacqua in the 41st minute of the match. Biagio Tolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Nero, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 45th minute of play forced Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Biagio Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Urtungo Verdejo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Silvestri. Urtungo Verdejo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Tristan to make the kick off. Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Medoacus Maior from getting a goal against them. Biagio Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Laudadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Bevilacqua in the 56th minute of play. Biagio Tolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Bevilacqua in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Medoacus Maior's Urtungo Verdejo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Ciro Immobile replaced Konrad De Winter. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Fortunato Santone was substituted for Armando Izzo. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Achille Tullio was substituted for Amedeo Palmieri. After 65 played minutes Medoacus Maior got a freekick which was hit by Urtungo Verdejo. Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match SPALLETTE RETURNS got a corner. Medoacus Maior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Davide Guerrini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marco Silvestri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medoacus Maior's Fabiano Trabucco was substituted for Miguel Tristan. After 81 minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elia Bosco who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Urtungo Verdejo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SPALLETTE RETURNS's Marco Silvestri did a great save. With a little luck, Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin got control of the ball when Antonio Nero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Diego Barresi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medoacus Maior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPALLETTE RETURNS the free kick. 91 minutes into the game, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Cosimo Laudadio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biagio Tolin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 96th minute of play forced Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Biagio Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
