Cristoforo Tammaro had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Andrea Mariani's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Zarillo. Felice Tacco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Tammaro made a huge save. Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Eli Mariani scored to the left of an out of position Cristoforo Tammaro, making the score, 2-0. Hélio O'Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Martini in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Morelli to maneuver through the defense. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Tacco in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Zarillo in the 42nd minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Maritek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Mariani to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Fedele Panza took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Hélio O'Connell to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Maritek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Ettore Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maritek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felice Cirigliano got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Felice Cirigliano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
