A collision led to SPALLETTE RETURNS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ciro Immobile hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Laudadio in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Garro saved Valdieri from getting behind. A collision led to SPALLETTE RETURNS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Davide Guerrini hit a great ball. Franco Garro came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by SPALLETTE RETURNS's Cosimo Laudadio. But to his dismay, Cosimo Laudadio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Paolo Garro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marco Silvestri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giuliano Basso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Valdieri's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giuliano Garro in the 26th minute. Valdieri's Giuliano Garro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Silvestri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Giuliano Basso made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paolo Garro immediately put the ball in play. In the 34th minute Cosimo Laudadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Garro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's Cosimo Laudadio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franco Garro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosimo Laudadio struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Franco Garro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPALLETTE RETURNS. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Marco Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Cieri in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosimo Laudadio to make the kick off. Marco Silvestri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Garro in the 59th minute of play. If Paolo Garro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Antonio Nero was substituted for Achille Tullio. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Amedeo Palmieri was substituted for Konrad De Winter. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Fortunato Santone replaced Armando Izzo. In the 65th minute SPALLETTE RETURNS were awarded a corner. Davide Guerrini went to the cornerflag to take it. After 66 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Garro. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Augusto Bevilacqua managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Giuliano Basso in the 68 minute of the game. Cosimo Laudadio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Garro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Valdieri's goalkeeper Franco Garro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 73rd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Franco Garro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosimo Laudadio in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Garro saved Valdieri from getting behind. Francesco Cieri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marco Silvestri. SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuliano Basso to maneuver through the defense. Cosimo Laudadio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Garro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Giuliano Lovera thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Franco Garro, a very annoying self made goal in the 83rd minute which led to 3-1. When Cosimo Laudadio came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SPALLETTE RETURNS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosimo Laudadio couldn't finish the play. Marco Silvestri came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Valdieri's Francesco Cieri. But to his dismay, Francesco Cieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Valdieri's Franco Garro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Laudadio in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valdieri's zone, Cosimo Laudadio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Garro came out of the goal and Cosimo Laudadio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SPALLETTE RETURNS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valdieri for a fine match.
