Ugonotti's Achille Giannetta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ugonotti from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Torsten Henning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Carrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Vaffancalcio's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Juniors came free, but Dennis Carrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vinícius Juniors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Carrea was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Ugonotti's Tal Heggit ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dennis Carrea. Dennis Carrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
