Dino Pozzoli hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Alvaro Rotili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gísli Langnickel's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristiano Paolucci hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gísli Langnickel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Rotili was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emory Øien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gísli Langnickel in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes in the game Dino Pozzoli did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Merexildo Oliveras. 22 minutes into the match, A.S. Emory Øien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessio Zoccali went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Udinese were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Aversa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dino Pozzoli took the corner. Suchao Froněk tried in the 39th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Emory Øien a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. In the 40th match minute, A.S. Udinese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Zoccali to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Kauã Paes in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A.S. Udinese's Dino Pozzoli. Alessio Zoccali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Emory Øien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aversa's Emory Øien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Zoccali in the 45th minute of play. Dino Pozzoli kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Dino Pozzoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute, Kauã Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano was substituted for Alexander Damiani. In the 59th match minute, Aversa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Paes to maneuver through the defense. Ercole Fiorentino replaced Alessio Zoccali. After 78 minutes Aversa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dino Pozzoli who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dino Pozzoli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emory Øien quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aang Pitono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aang Pitono, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Emory Øien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Di Franco in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute of the game Anthony Vaiani made a throw-in which Aang Pitono played forward. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. A.S. Udinese had won after a very even match.
