In the 11th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Carrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Endre Austnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endre Austnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Borja got free with Dennis Carrea in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Endre Austnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vaffancalcio's Dennis Carrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Vaffancalcio from getting a goal against them. Fortunato Montini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Endre Austnes's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 36th minute, Endre Austnes made a precise shot to the right of Fortunato Montini. GG Team FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave De Bartolo got free with Dennis Carrea in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Endre Austnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Borja in the 56th minute of play forced Vaffancalcio's goalkeeper Dennis Carrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endre Austnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercole Rosi struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fortunato Montini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaffancalcio. After some careless play in the Vaffancalcio defense, Szymon Raschke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Carrea. The Vaffancalcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Carrea should have stopped the shot. Fortunato Montini came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Vaffancalcio's Ercole Rosi. But to his dismay, Ercole Rosi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The GG Team FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vaffancalcio's performance. The match ended with a win for Vaffancalcio.
