Attilio Fiordelisi came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Longobarda's Edwin Godholm. But to his dismay, Edwin Godholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adriano Colantoni made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Mims's Ermanno Ottavi. Attilio Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Godholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attilio Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Godholm in the 13th minute of the match. Attilio Fiordelisi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Godholm's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Edwin Godholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Fiordelisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Godholm in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Valcareggi came free, but Attilio Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attilio Fiordelisi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Valcareggi's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Arturo Baciadonne managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mims's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Baciadonne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arturo Baciadonne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Lev Yashin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute, Edwin Godholm had to leave the field with a concussion. After 33 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Ottavi. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Armin Quercia put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Valcareggi in the 47th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Attilio Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes of play, Longobarda's Armin Quercia made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attilio Fiordelisi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo Baciadonne to make the kick off. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save FC Mims from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Baciadonne in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Yashin saved Longobarda from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armin Quercia got free with Attilio Fiordelisi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Angelici. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Fabio Angelici got a free kick in the 64th minute. Armin Quercia might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attilio Fiordelisi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armin Quercia ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Armin Quercia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Cocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Alberigo Garofalo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Alvaro Valcareggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Baciadonne in the 75th minute of play forced Longobarda's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Longobarda's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Baciadonne in the 78th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Armin Quercia took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Attilio Fiordelisi to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Armin Quercia tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arturo Baciadonne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Valcareggi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Attilio Fiordelisi 93 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Bonelli. Armin Quercia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Attilio Fiordelisi made a huge save. Longobarda's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
