In the 7thth minute of the game Arturo Di Matteo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Supremacy Catania FC's Fan Xi Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arturo Di Matteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fan Xi Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Fan Xi Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Di Matteo in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Supremacy Catania FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrianinho Vasconcelos was slow to take the kick. During this time Calenzano's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Calenzano's Yaniusky Pardo to fire away a dangerous shot which Fan Xi Hong despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Arturo Di Matteo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fan Xi Hong, 1-0. Adrianinho Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Calenzano's Felix Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İldeniz Turatekin in the 30th minute of play. Calenzano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrianinho Vasconcelos in the 33rd minute. Calenzano's Adrianinho Vasconcelos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fan Xi Hong in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Arturo Di Matteo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fan Xi Hong, 2-0. Filippo Bozzelli scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Ivarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when İldeniz Turatekin came free, but Felix Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Ivarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İldeniz Turatekin went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.

With a little luck, Calenzano's Felix Ivarsson got control of the ball when İldeniz Turatekin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calenzano's Felix Ivarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Calenzano from getting a goal against them. The corner led to Supremacy Catania FC's Ramón Porto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Calenzano made a substitution. Quinto Ampudia replaced Arturo Di Matteo. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fan Xi Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Dario Haslem got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd match minute, Supremacy Catania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Espírito Santo to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes, Franco Lizzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Supremacy Catania FC and the Calenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Quinto Ampudia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The supporters of Calenzano booed when Supremacy Catania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Baggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Quinto Ampudia made a precise shot to the right of Fan Xi Hong. Supremacy Catania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 94th minute, Achille Sciamanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Supremacy Catania FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Calenzano.
