In the 7th minute Konstantin Salgó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Puja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Galatasaray FC booed when Gyulafirátót SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Márkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Konstantin Salgó managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantin Salgó was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Konstantin Salgó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Puja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ervin Sárkány hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, György Kinizsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Gyulafirátót SE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Galatasaray FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tibor Szőcs to strike the kick off in the second half. Galatasaray FC's Konstantin Salgó got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Puja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Salgó, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Konstantin Salgó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Puja having to interfere. Zoltán Bíró came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyulafirátót SE's Tibor Márkus. But to his dismay, Tibor Márkus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tibor Szőcs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoltán Bíró having to interfere. Konstantin Salgó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Erik Puja made a huge save. In the 74th minute Tibor Szőcs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoltán Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Kinizsi in the 75th minute of play forced Galatasaray FC's goalkeeper Zoltán Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Gyulafirátót SE's György Kinizsi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zoltán Bíró was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gyulafirátót SE's Tibor Szőcs got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, György Sipos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyulafirátót SE the free kick. After 92 played minutes Galatasaray FC got a freekick which was hit by György Sipos. Despite being the better team, Gyulafirátót SE failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
