Spectators: 7442 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 100) Sporting Savaria's Kálmán Mbappè started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fülöp Sipos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sporting Savaria were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Újszász's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lajos Laczkó took the corner. 17 minutes into the match, Adorján Mónos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Újszász's Fülöp Sipos. Fülöp Sipos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aurél Erős hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Lajos Laczkó shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fülöp Sipos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sporting Savaria's Wincenty Budzyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zsolt Bódi in the 22nd minute of play. When Kornél Madaras fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Újszász's protests and gave Kornél Madaras a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Újszász's Kornél Madaras got a free kick in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gyula Sallói during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Újszász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gyula Sallói to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Mbappè in the 27th minute of play forced Újszász's goalkeeper Fülöp Sipos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Újszász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Madaras to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Wincenty Budzyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kálmán Madaras. If Balázs Kádár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Újszász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pál Sós to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Sporting Savaria were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zsolt Bódi to make the kick off. Heiki Uustal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fülöp Sipos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balázs Kádár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Sporting Savaria got a freekick which was hit by Klas Collin. In the 66th minute, Pál Sós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Újszász's Rajmund Sági was substituted for Zsolt Bódi. Kálmán Madaras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincenty Budzyn having to make a save. Wincenty Budzyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kálmán Madaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Újszász getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Rajmund Sági hit a great ball. Kálmán Mbappè received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fülöp Sipos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiki Uustal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fülöp Sipos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Újszász's zone, Heiki Uustal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fülöp Sipos came out of the goal and Heiki Uustal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kálmán Mbappè succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Fülöp Sipos was a little too slow when Kálmán Mbappè got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-5. Heiki Uustal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fülöp Sipos having to interfere. Újszász's Pál Sós quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cyryl Brzeszczak, made in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th minute of the match Kornél Madaras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wincenty Budzyn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Balázs Kádár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fülöp Sipos having to interfere. Sporting Savaria played a much better game than Újszász and deserved their victory. The Újszász players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
