The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Domonkos Honti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zsolt Cseh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domonkos Honti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, András Borsos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olivér Bögi. Vasas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that András Borsos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Miklós Benkó cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zsolt Cseh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olivér Bögi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Vasas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeromos Koczka came free, but Olivér Bögi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dániel Kurucz in the 27th minute of play forced Székelyudvarhely FC's goalkeeper Zsolt Cseh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasas FC's Domonkos Honti got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domonkos Honti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Molnár in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zsolt Cseh saved Székelyudvarhely FC from getting behind. Miklós Benkó struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Zsolt Cseh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasas FC. Zsolt Cseh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Molnár in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Székelyudvarhely FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Bertha to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Zsolt Kaiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Cseh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miklós Benkó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Cseh having to interfere. In the 45th minute Antal Molnár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Cseh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Székelyudvarhely FC's Zsolt Cseh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Molnár in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeromos Koczka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Antal Molnár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vasas FC booed when Székelyudvarhely FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabás Vadász didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Vasas FC's Zsolt Cseh threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miklós Benkó, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zsolt Kaisers short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Zsolt Cseh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vasas FC's Dániel Kurucz pulled a muscle in his leg after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 74 played minutes Székelyudvarhely FC got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Bertha. After a rather tough play, Székelyudvarhely FC's Koppány Takács got a free kick in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Székelyudvarhely FC's goalkeeper Zsolt Cseh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domonkos Honti. The crowd rose to their feet as Vasas FC's Miklós Benkó slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zsolt Cseh. That made the score 2-2 after 88 minutes of play. Domonkos Honti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Székelyudvarhely FC's Zsolt Bertha got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Zsolt Cseh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Benkó in the 94th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Vasas FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
