Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lajos Vásárhelyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Szőlősi in the 6th minute. Lajos Vásárhelyi came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Budapest's Pál Bollobás. But to his dismay, Pál Bollobás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Zsolt Várdai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lajos Vásárhelyi. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Pál Bollobás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lajos Vásárhelyi having to interfere. The supporters of FC Budapest booed when Testvériség was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balázs Szaniszló didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Pál Bollobás recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lajos Vásárhelyi. Pál Bollobás showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. When Viktor Szőlősi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FC Budapest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Szőlősi couldn't finish the play. Lajos Vásárhelyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máté Polgár, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Pál Bollobás got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Balázs Szaniszló fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Testvériség's protests and gave Balázs Szaniszló a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Balázs Szaniszló hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Budapest's Dávid Tóth got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Testvériség got a freekick which was hit by Kálmán Kertész. In the game's 33rd minute FC Budapest's Zsolt Várdai took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi and thus the score was 4-0. Lajos Vásárhelyi came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Budapest's Dávid Tóth. But to his dismay, Dávid Tóth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 42nd minute, FC Budapest's Máté Polgár dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Budapest's Dávid Tóth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lajos Vásárhelyi. That made the score 7-0 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Viktor Szőlősi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vásárhelyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Testvériség defense, Máté Polgár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi. The Testvériség fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lajos Vásárhelyi should have stopped the shot. Pál Bollobás struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Lajos Vásárhelyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Budapest. Lajos Vásárhelyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Szőlősi in the 56th minute of play. When László Tandori fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Testvériség's protests and gave László Tandori a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Testvériség was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by László Tandori to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Dávid Tóth put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi. After having played for 62 minutes, Jeromos Mayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Budapest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeromos Mayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lajos Vásárhelyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Tóth in the 63rd minute of the match. Dávid Tóth scored 10-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Máté Polgár made a precise shot to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi. Testvériség's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Dávid Tóth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Máté Polgár in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lajos Vásárhelyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Testvériség defense, Jeromos Mayer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lajos Vásárhelyi. The Testvériség fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lajos Vásárhelyi should have stopped the shot. Dávid Tóth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Lajos Vásárhelyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leó Kurucz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Lajos Vásárhelyi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dávid Tóth went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Budapest fully deserved thier win.
