In the 9th minute Zalán Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Sundin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, József Rigó skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Zalán Ibrahimović, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eulalio Gudesteo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. József Rigó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félix Baló, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Torsten Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 57th match minute, FC RED BUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmos Takács to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dávid Kiprich managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC RED BUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Dávid Kiprich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute János Zarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Rigó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Virgil van Beek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Gudesteo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Szabolcs Vándor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without József Rigó having to make a save. After 77 minutes of play, Nagykarácsony's János Zarka made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. József Rigó was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Zalán Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC RED BUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Zalán Ibrahimović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Baló in the 81st minute of play forced FC RED BUL's goalkeeper József Rigó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Torsten Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szabolcs Vándor hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Nagykarácsony's Eulalio Gudesteo got control of the ball when Lajos Gerő tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Nagykarácsony were victorious despite being under pressure from FC RED BUL for much of the match.
