Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Ronny Engström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dunakeszi Lake City were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after STORM CORNER F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebestyén Soós took the corner. Dunakeszi Lake City's Otto Tenno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kaan Winter in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th minute, Hugo Raitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dunakeszi Lake City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Ionuț Jităreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinhold Artmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Engström having to interfere. Kaan Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dunakeszi Lake City's Ronny Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Dunakeszi Lake City from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the STORM CORNER F.C. defense, Hugo Raitin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaan Winter. The STORM CORNER F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaan Winter should have stopped the shot. After the first half Dunakeszi Lake City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Raitin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronny Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Szekeres in the 54th minute of play. Kaan Winter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Raitin in the 56th minute of the match. STORM CORNER F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Jităreanu in the 59th minute. After taking down the ball on STORM CORNER F.C.'s corner Ionuț Jităreanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronny Engström quite easily take care of the ball. György Szekeres struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ronny Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STORM CORNER F.C.. 63 minutes into the match, STORM CORNER F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaan Winter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Raitin. If Krisztián Lisztes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. STORM CORNER F.C. made a substitution. Ede Szász replaced György Szekeres. Dunakeszi Lake City's Zsolt Hatvani was substituted for Sebestyén Soós. In the 75th match minute, STORM CORNER F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhold Artmaier to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes STORM CORNER F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Reinhold Artmaier. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Bartolome got free with Kaan Winter in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes STORM CORNER F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zsolt Hatvani who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Zsolt Hatvani almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but STORM CORNER F.C.'s Kaan Winter did a great save. If Maximo Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinhold Artmaier in the 85th minute of play forced Dunakeszi Lake City's goalkeeper Ronny Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dunakeszi Lake City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zsolt Hatvani in the 89th minute. It was a well-played corner which Jean-Louis Ouaddou managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Adam Hubina hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Dunakeszi Lake City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dunakeszi Lake City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
