Csabagyöngye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázár Lévay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Hedlund in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jan-Åke Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Åke Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Mészáros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros got control of the ball when Jan-Åke Hedlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Åke Hedlund took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Péter Mészáros. The audience was convinced that Jan-Åke Hedlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Péter Mészáros was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Åke Hedlund in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Péter Mészáros saved Csabagyöngye from getting behind.
