In the 14th minute Ištvan Plavčić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drake Didlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ištvan Plavčić in the 15th minute of play forced NK SKRETNIČAR's goalkeeper Drake Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Apriano Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edi Sanader to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Krsto Počanić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apriano Juniors and the NK SKRETNIČAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Apriano Juniors fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 22nd minute, the referee gave NK SKRETNIČAR a penalty. Dario Anđelić looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Mladen Asanović. With an all-out effort, NK SKRETNIČAR's Mladen Asanović threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvije Stanić, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mladen Asanović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edi Peranić in the 26th minute. After 27th play minutes Edi Peranić shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Mladen Asanović and just under the crossbar into goal. Siniša Medvidović kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Ištvan Plavčić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apriano Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 39th minute Ištvan Plavčić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drake Didlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Ćesić hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ištvan Plavčić in the 43rd minute of play forced NK SKRETNIČAR's goalkeeper Drake Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, NK SKRETNIČAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vjeran Bronić to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jadran Dominković made the kick off in the second half. When NK SKRETNIČAR's Edi Peranić in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of NK SKRETNIČAR booed when Apriano Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lado Dimitrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, NK SKRETNIČAR's goal looked a bit too open when Jadran Dominković came free, but Drake Didlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Ištvan Plavčić reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Drake Didlock. The goal made the score 2-2. Drake Didlock made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Držimir Baletić sent off a good shot on target. Apriano Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomislav Lugarić in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Držimir Baletić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drake Didlock was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 85th minute of the match Lado Dimitrov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Drake Didlock skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edi Sanader during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of NK SKRETNIČAR booed when Apriano Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edi Sanader didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Apriano Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NK SKRETNIČAR throughout the match.
