Danijel Petrlin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Pawel Harendarski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boleslaw Jaktorowo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miroslav Agbaba struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Boleslaw Jaktorowo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crni Tigrovi. Maksimir's Boleslaw Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Harendarski in the 18th minute of play. When Crni Tigrovi's Pawel Harendarski in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Boleslaw Jaktorowo made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Neno Gudelj sent off a good shot on target. Boleslaw Jaktorowo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Harendarski in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Crni Tigrovi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Njegoš Kresić to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Crni Tigrovi's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Ďumbier came free, but Nebojša Jerić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 51 played minutes Crni Tigrovi got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Đorđević. Maksimir's Boyisana Mnisi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nebojša Jerić but with some difficulty. Maksimir's Boleslaw Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Harendarski in the 54th minute of play. Miroslav Agbaba scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boleslaw Jaktorowo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maksimir's Mauro Jurišić was substituted for Tibor Ďumbier. Maksimir made a substitution. Adam Dodaj replaced Billie Denijs. Antonio Hrste scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nebojša Jerić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Danijel Petrlin came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Maksimir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danijel Petrlin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 78 minutes, Danijel Petrlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maksimir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danijel Petrlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crni Tigrovi's Miroslav Agbaba got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maksimir's Boyisana Mnisi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stanislav Đorđević in the 81 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danijel Petrlin in the 85th minute of play forced Crni Tigrovi's goalkeeper Nebojša Jerić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danijel Petrlin in the 88th minute of play. Fabijan Čavlović kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Stanislav Đorđević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maksimir's Lev Zhdanov got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Maksimir's goal looked a bit too open when Neno Gudelj came free, but Boleslaw Jaktorowo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crni Tigrovi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maksimir had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
