The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mickaël Rohmer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mickaël Rohmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Pagot in the 32nd minute of play. If Sammy Couffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Matteo Julia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Nathan Dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matteo Julia struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Basile Astie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toulouse United. In the 86th match minute, Pioline was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Sanz to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pioline's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamin Leal was slow to take the kick. During this time Toulouse United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Toulouse United's corner Benjamin Leal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Basile Astie quite easily take care of the ball. Basile Astie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Couffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
