Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roman Assie kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Athletic Club IDA's Alban Salome got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Alban Salome made a precise shot to the right of Dove Rancon. Saint Martin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Roman Assie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dove Rancon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Assie, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Assie in the 12th minute of play forced Saint Martin's goalkeeper Dove Rancon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Martin's Rudy Durieux got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Alban Salome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Roman Assie came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Athletic Club IDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Assie couldn't finish the play. Dove Rancon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Assie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alban Salome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dove Rancon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Assie in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dove Rancon saved Saint Martin from getting behind. Alban Salome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Assie in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dove Rancon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Roman Assie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dove Rancon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Assie in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Alban Salome notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Saint Martin's Dove Rancon. Dove Rancon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basile Queffelec to strike the kick off in the second half. Alban Salome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dove Rancon made a huge save. When Gauthier Dumoutier fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Martin's protests and gave Gauthier Dumoutier a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saint Martin's Gauthier Dumoutier got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alban Salome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Harry Poinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basile Queffelec in the 62nd minute of the match. Dove Rancon stood somewhat misplaced when Roman Assie came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 66 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Assie in the 69th minute of play forced Saint Martin's goalkeeper Dove Rancon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alban Salome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dove Rancon made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Alban Salome sent off a good shot on target. Saint Martin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Roman Assie scored to the left of an out of position Dove Rancon, making the score, 0-4. Roman Assie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alban Salome came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Athletic Club IDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alban Salome couldn't finish the play. Athletic Club IDA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
