Spectators: 6852 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 0) Silvares SCP's Bernard Tirard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Jean-Michel Duchez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silvares SCP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Guy Dif fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pérérrée's protests and gave Guy Dif a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Guy Dif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Merville in the 12th minute of play forced Silvares SCP's goalkeeper Axel Guffroy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Pérérrée defense, Abdel Armengaud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remi Amsellem. The Pérérrée fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remi Amsellem should have stopped the shot. In the 15th match minute, Silvares SCP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Armengaud to maneuver through the defense. Sofiane Pate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Guffroy having to interfere. If Jean-Michel Postic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pérérrée's Raoul Le Ruyet got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Bernard Tirard struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Remi Amsellem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvares SCP. If Jean-Michel Postic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvares SCP's Bernard Tirard got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remi Amsellem came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Silvares SCP's Jean-Michel Postic. But to his dismay, Jean-Michel Postic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Creusot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Guffroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofiane Pate in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Lucas Decaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Bernard Tirard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remi Amsellem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Guffroy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Creusot, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bernard Tirard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Boute kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Billy Creusot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Axel Guffroy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Michel Duchez in the 80th minute of play forced Pérérrée's goalkeeper Remi Amsellem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Michel Postic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remi Amsellem having to interfere. In the 91st minute Jean-Michel Duchez suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 91 minutes into the game, Raoul Le Ruyet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pérérrée's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silvares SCP the free kick. Silvares SCP's Florian Blanquart was substituted for Jean-Michel Duchez. A collision led to Pérérrée getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Raoul Le Ruyet hit a great ball.
