Abdel Armengaud took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barnabé Coquillat. Barnabé Coquillat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jean-Michel Postic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Decaux's late challenge caught a FC ROWEX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Decaux helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Decaux hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. FC ROWEX's Pierre-Loup Duperron got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC ROWEX getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Yves Bouchot hit a great ball. Jean-Michel Duchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Barnabé Coquillat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC ROWEX's Pierre-Loup Duperron got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Silvares SCP's goal looked a bit too open when Hippolyte Risse came free, but Axel Guffroy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC ROWEX booed when Silvares SCP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdel Armengaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Bernard Tirard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barnabé Coquillat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 43 minutes into the game, Yves Bouchot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ROWEX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silvares SCP the free kick. Yves Bouchot kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Tirard to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC ROWEX's Hippolyte Risse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Axel Guffroy. Axel Guffroy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Barnabé Coquillat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Michel Duchez in the 55th minute of the match. Hakim Schell kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Jean-Michel Postic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silvares SCP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 65th match minute, Silvares SCP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Boute to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Silvares SCP's Axel Guffroy got control of the ball when Hippolyte Risse tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Pierre-Loup Duperron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Hakim Schell put in a rough tackle. After 72 played minutes FC ROWEX got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Schell. Bernard Tirard struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Barnabé Coquillat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silvares SCP. Barnabé Coquillat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Tirard, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernard Tirard in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barnabé Coquillat saved FC ROWEX from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Jean-Michel Postic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Barnabé Coquillat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Silvares SCP fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC ROWEX had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
