But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Morvant couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Constantin Schwartz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vergil Kyurkchiev was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Vergil Kyurkchiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Martino in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Aspremont's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Martino came free, but Vergil Kyurkchiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vergil Kyurkchiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vergil Kyurkchiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Schwartz in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Morvant in the 45th minute of play forced Aspremont's goalkeeper Vergil Kyurkchiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aymerick Lemoine hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serge Broyer to make the kick off. The supporters of Aspremont booed when Saulzet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Martino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aymerick Lemoine kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Constantin Schwartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Constantin Schwartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergil Kyurkchiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Morvant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saulzet's Morgan Jacquel got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saulzet's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
