Lambres's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Davy Chatry in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Davy Chatry almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nilvange's Felix Azam did a great save. Lambres's Djimmy Bourguet got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Lilian Vernhet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Felix Azam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donald Saarberg was the one to do the kick off. Gwendal Blaize hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Felix Azam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lilian Vernhet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Djimmy Bourguet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lambres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 64th minute Lilian Vernhet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Azam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djimmy Bourguet scored 0-8 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Azam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felix Azam was a little too slow when Donald Saarberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-10. Felix Azam made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Djimmy Bourguet sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Noël Chamayou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lambres's supporters rose to their feet, but Noël Chamayou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Azam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0-11 became the score in the 85th minute when Lilian Vernhet elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Nilvange's goalkeeper Felix Azam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Djimmy Bourguet.
