Spectators: 7510 (Terracing: 5585, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) Paris FC's Pascal Dudon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guy Gagnaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Reyrieux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gauthier Sylla to maneuver through the defense. Maël Romanet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Ferri in the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Paris FC's Pascal Dudon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maël Romanet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Reyrieux's Maël Romanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Dudon in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Paris FC's Batiste Le Mouel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maël Romanet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maël Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yohann Tirel in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Yohann Tirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yohann Tirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Teddy Ferri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maël Romanet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Maël Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batiste Le Mouel in the 34th minute of play. If Pascal Dudon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batiste Le Mouel scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maël Romanet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yohann Tirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maël Romanet having to interfere. After the first half Paris FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guy Gagnaire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maël Romanet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Dudon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Batiste Le Mouel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Chauvire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Gagnaire in the 69th minute of the match. Teddy Ferri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Maël Romanet made a huge save. The supporters of Paris FC booed when Reyrieux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Pinet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes, Matthieu Sène mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reyrieux and the Paris FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Sène. In the 80th match minute, Paris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yohann Tirel to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Noa Jannot. 85 minutes into the game, Luis Cresson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reyrieux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paris FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Reyrieux's Luis Cresson got a free kick in the 85th minute. Paris FC's Batiste Le Mouel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Reyrieux. Maël Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Dudon in the 90th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Guy Gagnaire. Guy Gagnaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paris FC played a much better game than Reyrieux and deserved their victory. The Reyrieux players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
