After a rather tough play, Cellule's David Rousselet got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Paris FC's Pascal Dudon in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cellule's goalie prevented a goal. Tim Chauvire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Contal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Tim Chauvire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germain Hocquet in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batiste Le Mouel in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Charles Sauvaget prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Chauvire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Contal in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Jean-Philippe Contal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Chauvire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cellule's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre-Louis Berrier in the 43rd minute. Cellule's Pierre-Louis Berrier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tim Chauvire in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Cellule's goal looked a bit too open when Yohann Tirel came free, but Jean-Charles Sauvaget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascal Dudon made a kick off. If Pascal Dudon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batiste Le Mouel in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Charles Sauvaget saved Cellule from getting behind. Germain Hocquet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Chauvire having to interfere.
